Consulting with Elettra

From Giulio Bolzonello:

My consulting project this year is in Elettra. From many years CIMBA CBA has collaborated with Elettra, which is a multidisciplinary synchrotron light laboratory in Trieste open to researchers in diverse basic and applied fields. This year’s project consists of providing assistance and support in the organization and data collection activity for the IRUVX WP 4.1.

IRUVX is one of 35 projects for new large-scale research infrastructure identified by ESFRI (the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures) in the Road Map for Research Infrastructures.  The objective of WP4 is the development of a common framework for easy exchange of personnel and of a joint approach to training, hiring and career development in Europe.

In particular, Elettra management’s responsibility for WB 4.1 is to collect data on the employees of each laboratory in the consortium according to job title, job description, education and skills, previous experience and salary requirements to evaluate interchangeable resources and overlapping of experience or opportunities to exchange experience. Our role is to support Elettra’s management and maximize the use of data available.

The possibility to be involved in such amazing European project is a great opportunity for us, and the group is looking forward to helping Elettra to achieve its goals in the consortium in the best way possible.
