CIMBA MBA

Dear all,

my name is Eva and I am a full - tuime MBA student at CIMBA, Asolo.

I will write blog for couple of times from now on and hopefully you will find it interesting.

My MBA experience is going on for almoast 5 months now and I simply can¨t believe how time flies.

Last week you had the opportunity to read Mesut¨s blog about Career coaching at undergraduate campus at Paderno, this week we are all focused on finances. Yap, we have an exam coming tomorrow so the place to find us is in the library, possibly behind our books (the bible being Brigham, Ehrhardt: Financial management) and computers.

If I can go back to coaching though, I can say it was a valuable practice. We did quite a bit of peer to peer coaching before but after such a long period of living together and knowing each other very well, it was a perfect refreshment to discover others. The part that I enjoyed most was listening to the coachees and exploring with them their career possibilities. Getting different feedback was also good. For example I always had an issue with somewhat negative feedback (here, at CIMBA it is called rather "area of improvement"), particularly giving it, but I realize now that only somewhat negative one can give you the opportunity to grow and improve your performance.

What else? Hm, our English class is back - .No, no, it will be another opportunity to speak, write, laugh, sing and ....., dream in English. Particularly good point is that Tess will be our instructor and since she is really pasionate about grammar and vocabulary we will be in good hands.
